WizKidz honors the accomplishments of some of America's greatest aviation pioneers and heroes- Bessie Coleman, Mildred Hemmons Carter, and the Tuskegee Airmen by establishing aviation programs for youth that share a passion for the spirit of aviation.

Bessie Coleman Aviators Club for Girls
Bessie Coleman broke many barriers as an American civil aviator. She was the first African-American female pilot and the first person of African American descent to hold an international pilot license.
Mildred Hemmons Carter Aviation Ambassadors
WizKidz would like to recognize the contributions of Mildred Hemmons Carter in aviation as the "first" known African-American female to earn her civilian pilot's license in the South. 2011 marks the 70th Anniversary of her history-making flight. Special thanks to Zellie Orr, President of the Atlanta Chapter -Tuskegee Airmen, Inc.
Tuskegee Airboys Avaition Camp
WizKidz Tuskegee Airboys Aviation Camp honors the accomplishments of The Tuskegee Airmen who were the "first" African American military aviators in the United States armed forces. The Tuskegee Airmen were the 332nd Fighter Group and the 477th Bombardment Group of the U.S. Army Air Corps.

WizKidz Bessie Coleman Aviators Club for Girls joins the ThinkGlobal Flight Project as a Student Command Center (SCC) Special thanks to Judy Rice and the ThinkGlobal Flight Project whose initiative builds partnerships across the country to help make a difference in the aerospace industry workforce and the education of students interested in technical fields.
The ThinkGlobal Flight Project recognizes the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics education. This significant international flight will bring meaning and awareness for the importance of STEM to American students.
Student Command Centers (SCC) will be under the guidance of educators and subject matter experts providing detailed and concise reports directly to the ThinkGlobal flight crew. The flight crew and SCCs’ will communicate via satellite radio, the ThinkGlobal Flight web site blog, and through email. All research, final analysis, in-flight experiments, videos, and documentation will be posted on the ThinkGlobal Flight web site.
ThinkGlobal’s mission will be supported entirely, 24/7, by American Students!
ThinkGlobal Student Command Centers (SCC) across America are comprised of American students researching, analyzing data, and working together providing the technical support for the ThinkGlobal flight.
